Thought i'd have a play around with my profile including this journal thingy
Well i'm Laura, I'm 15 and i'm from Essex..
My favourite things are photography, music, singing, my friends and family, dancing and loads of other random stuff!
I pretty much listen to any sort of music, my very favourite artists of all time have to be Alanis Morissette and Guns n Roses. Best bands other than ones already mentioned are Coldplay, Soundgarden, Letters to Cleo, Velvet Revolver, U2, and a hundred and one others.
Best people on the planet who i couldnt live without: Family obv., Atlanta, who just so happens to be an absolutely amazing person, keeps me smiling, etc etc.. Shelly, Caitlin, Leonie, Danielle, Tom, Chaz, Ricey, Sam, Jakey and loads of others. They make me happy
I collect quotes :L I have one for every occasion, and when things go wrong or not as planned, they make me feel better if i find just the right one to relate to. I hate doing badly or getting things wrong, but if they do i have a quote that is pretty cool and makes a lot of sense to me; "You have 5 minutes to wallow in the delicious misery- enjoy it, embrace it, discard it and proceed."
I'm quite synical. I often use words that my friends don't understand, I love words. My favourite word at the moment is 'exponentially'- stolen from 'Juno'. I automatically know how to spell most words, but if you put advanced maths in front of me i am useless. I love writing, stories especially, but i always find it really hard to actually finish one once i've started!
Photography is one of my favourite things in the world. My camera is my life- if i ever lost it i think i would lay in my room for a week and cry whilst eating lemon sorbet (one of my vices and comfort foods- i could live off the stuff). I love the fact that you can capture a moment forever and do whatever you want with it. I get super-excited when i find new functions on my camera, as my friends know, and i often use them as test subjects when i have some inspiration.
